Push the item off the platform

Equip your Pusher, move spawned objects toward the platform edge, and send them into the Void. That is the basic collection action: touching an object or watching it spawn is not the same as collecting it. After your first successful push, check that the collected tally and cash have increased.

This Collect 1 Million Items beginner guide starts with the collection loop because shopping first slows early progress. A stronger upgrade cannot help much if you leave the field crowded with objects that never reach the edge. Start with a repeatable sweep, then use the resulting cash and discoveries to improve it.

These instructions reflect the September 2026 game. Use the current shop and confirmation screens for unlock requirements and purchase effects.

Watch three different kinds of progress

Cash, collected credit, and Index discoveries measure different things. Treating them as one score makes the next purchase confusing.

DisplayWhat it tells youUseful next action
CashYour spending balanceCompare an affordable upgrade with your current bottleneck
Total collectedYour credited collection progressCheck the requirement for your next free Pusher
IndexThe different finds you have discoveredClaim available discovery rewards

Repeated objects still contribute to collection progress. They do not necessarily add a new unique Index entry. Later, Prestige can change the credit gained per pushed object, which is why the million-item tally and a complete Index are separate goals.

The official badges also separate your first collection from rare-item discoveries. You do not need a Secret item to prove that the basic collection loop works.

Use a short collection and upgrade loop

Try this order of actions before chasing a large currency number:

  1. Sweep a cluster toward the edge. Watch which objects actually fall into the Void.
  2. Check what slowed you down. Was the field empty, crowded, or expensive to upgrade?
  3. Spend on that problem. Compare spawn upgrades, movement, capacity, or income as appropriate.
  4. Open the Index and claim available rewards. Claiming rewards and equipping a discovered object are separate actions.
  5. Check free Pusher eligibility. When you unlock one, select and equip it before testing the next sweep.

An unlock notification does not prove you are using the newly available equipment. Compare your equipped Pusher with the selected one, then return to the field. Recorded early play shows wider Pushers making collection easier, but the current shop should supply the requirement for your next unlock.

For a deeper explanation of discoveries and claims, read the item Index guide.

Buy for the field you actually have

Look at the platform before buying more upgrades.

If you clear the field and spend time waiting, compare Faster Item Drops and Drop Count. They address spawn timing and the number of objects produced. If objects accumulate faster than you move them, check your sweeping coverage and movement first. Item Capacity concerns the number of objects that can remain on the field; it is not the size of your Index.

If you have plenty to push but purchases remain out of reach, compare the current cash upgrade and income equipment. Keep that choice separate from Luck: improving rare-find opportunities and improving spendable income are different decisions.

This is a way to diagnose your next purchase, not a fixed optimal upgrade order. The cash upgrades guide explains the comparison in more detail.

Claim bonuses without confusing the systems

The official Roblox game page advertises +1 Luck for liking the game and joining its group. Index reward claims also improve Luck in recorded play. Equipping a discovered item does not establish a separate Luck bonus, so claim rewards rather than assuming a displayed item supplies the benefit.

Rebirth and Prestige are different progression actions. Ordinary Rebirth is part of the early progression loop; Prestige is a deeper reset. Open the current confirmation and read its cost, retained progress, and reset fields before choosing either. Start with the Rebirth guide when that option becomes relevant.

Make the platform easier to read

If repeated impacts shake the view, check Screen Shake in Settings. A September recording shows the player turning it off, then rechecking it after a server reset. Use the setting that lets you see the edge and remaining objects clearly.

Temporary biome changes, including Desert and Candy, are shown during recorded play alongside income bonuses. Continue judging your purchases by the current field and displayed effects; a changed environment does not establish access to a new world or a permanent bonus.

FAQ

How do I collect my first item?

Equip a Pusher and knock a spawned object off the platform into the Void. Check the collected tally afterward. Moving through a crowded field without sending anything over the edge does not complete that action.

Why is my Index smaller than my collected tally?

The tally includes repeated collection credit, while the Index tracks different discoveries. They have separate jobs, and Prestige can further change how much credit one pushed object contributes.

Should I upgrade everything immediately?

Use the field to identify the problem first. An empty field points toward spawning; a crowded field points toward clearing and capacity; slow purchasing progress points toward income. Compare the displayed prices before spending.

Does a new Pusher equip automatically?

Check your selection and equipped tool after unlocking one. Ownership, eligibility, and the equipment currently in use are separate checks; test a sweep with the selected Pusher before deciding whether it improved your collection.
