Claim discoveries before chasing another large tally
Open the Index after finding new items and claim the available discovery rewards. In recorded September play, those claims increase Luck. Use Claim All when it is available, then check the current reward and Luck displays rather than assuming that simply equipping a rare-looking item grants the same benefit.
The Collect 1 Million Items item index is a discovery record, not a second version of your total collected score. A platform full of repeated objects can move your collection tally forward without filling a missing unique entry. That difference explains why a long collection session and a visibly incomplete Index can exist together.
Separate discovery, reward, and equipment
The Index presents several related actions, but they answer different questions.
| Action or display | What to check | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| New discovery | Whether the item or variant has an entry | Every repeated object creates another unique find |
| Claim or Claim All | Which discovery rewards are available | Owning the entry means its reward was claimed |
| Luck display | The bonus shown after a claim | A fixed probability increase for every rarity |
| Equipped discovery | Which find you have selected | Equipping necessarily grants Luck or income |
September recordings show players claiming entries and also equipping discovered objects. They do not establish a universal equipment-stat bonus for those objects. Keep those checks separate: select a find when you want to use the available equip action, and claim its reward when you want the discovery reward.
The Pusher is your collection tool. Equipping an Index find is not proof that you have selected a better Pusher. Use the Pusher guide for that equipment decision.
Build an Index check into your collection loop
You do not need to watch the Index after every individual object. Check it when new discoveries arrive or when you take a purchase break.
- Push spawned objects into the Void and watch for new finds.
- Open the Index and inspect available claims.
- Claim the available rewards, using Claim All if the current interface offers it.
- Check the displayed Luck and your next progression choice.
- Return to clearing the field instead of waiting inside the menu for a particular drop.
This keeps discovery rewards connected to active collection. It also avoids a common confusion: a growing cash balance does not prove that your outstanding Index rewards have been collected.
If the field is crowded, improve clearing before spending all your attention on a missing entry. If the field is empty, compare spawning. More objects successfully collected provide more opportunities to encounter different finds, but that does not guarantee a particular rare result. The Luck guide separates collection opportunities from Luck bonuses.
Read mutations separately from base rarity
September gameplay shows collections for variants including Golden, Dark Matter, Prismatic, and Giant. A later recording also discusses Frozen, Corrupted, Celestial, and Singularity, followed by new Index rewards. These are observed names from that period, not a complete current catalogue.
A variant and an item’s base rarity are different properties. The official badges name first Epic, Legendary, Godly, Exclusive, and Secret finds; those badge conditions do not turn the mutation names into one ranked rarity ladder.
When a familiar object arrives with a different variant, check the corresponding Index view before dismissing it as a duplicate. Use the entry and claim indicators actually shown. Do not assume that every variant has the same reward or that a particular mutation guarantees a Secret badge.
For Gem spending that targets variants, continue with the mutations guide.
Keep collection credit and reset decisions separate
Your total collected tally measures credited progress. The Index measures different discoveries. Later Prestige progression can increase the credit assigned to a pushed object. A bigger tally does not prove that missing Index finds have been obtained.
September Prestige demonstrations describe retaining Index collections while resetting other progression fields. Read the current Prestige confirmation before resetting, especially its retained and reset fields; do not infer its full behavior from the presence of an Index entry alone. The Prestige guide handles that reset decision.
Use the Collect 1 Million Items item index to identify what you have found and which rewards remain available. Use the collection tally for credited milestones and Pusher requirements. Combining those two questions into one completion percentage makes both harder to understand.
FAQ
Why does my collected tally grow without a new Index entry?
Repeated objects still contribute to collection credit. The Index records different discoveries, so another copy does not necessarily add a unique find. Prestige can also change the amount of credit awarded per pushed object.
What does Claim All do in the Index?
It claims available discovery rewards in the interface. September gameplay shows those rewards improving Luck. Read the current display for the actual reward rather than assigning every entry a fixed bonus.
Does equipping a rare item give extra Luck?
Equipping a find and claiming its discovery reward are separate actions. A universal extra Luck bonus from equipping is not established here; check the item and stat displays instead of assuming one.
Are mutations the same as rarity tiers?
No. The observed variant names and the official first-rarity badge labels describe different properties. Check the relevant Index entry for a new variant, and use the actual badge condition when pursuing a rarity milestone.
